CONTEMPLAS: FUSION - functions
Survey of functions and interfaces:
Due to its modular system, FUSION can be combined individually and according
to the intended application field.
Considering the specific needs of the customer, extended functions and so-called
adapters, which figure as interfaces to other measuring systems, can be integrated
into the total package.
The following list informs you, which adapters and functions are provided by FUSION
and which manufacturers have already been successfully integrated to the FUSION network
(for manufacturers not appearing in the list, please contact us).

Adapter for integration with motionQuest – insole consulting software by Currex:
- With the motionQuest- consulting software, especially designed for manufacturers
and retailers of orthopedic shoes or insoles, another innovative software is part of
the FUSION network. An automated transfer of important patient data to motionQuest is
the base of the motionQuest questionnaire serving to define the correct insole.
MotionQuest then resends the description of an appropriate insole including photo,
price and functional details as a report to FUSION.

Functional FUSION highlights and modules:
Customized scheduling
- Scheduling of a patient for a specific analysis or treatment.
A note is made in the patient record.
Customized check lists
- Checklist for pre-defined patient information (e.g. consultation sheet).
- The queried values can be reused for other adapters as for example the
PDF-adapter and the Vicon-adapter.
Storage of files and documents
- Add any files and documents to the patient record.
- Once the new information is added to the patient record, it is
available from any work station.
Customized actions
- Add a customized action to the FUSION workflow. This action gets its
own waiting list – as any adapter. Now integration and scheduling of
special services, as e.g. adaptation of prostheses, insole check etc.
is possible in parallel to the measurements.
External applications
- Start any external application and you can use measuring systems, which are
not yet directly connected to FUSION
- The user can define which other programs he wants to be integrated as
applications in the FUSION waiting lists, so that these programs can be started
without interrupting the workflow.
- The call of the target program is noted in the patient record.
User-defined image storage
- Add an image to the patient’s report.
- The added image as well as a title and a description can easily be
integrated into the report design.
Working with PDF-files
- Open a pre-defined PDF-file (created as standard letter e.g.)
- Possibility to add values automatically to the standard PDF-file you
want to open (e.g. name and address of the patient).
FUSION-Viewer
- The FUSION-Viewer enables patients to review the report and measuring data
(dynamic display) at certain work stations without the measuring software itself
being installed at this work station.
