In February, the 7th joint dvs-symposium of the sections biomechanics, motor
control and training sciences took place in the congress center in Bad
Sassendorf.

Together with their sales partner prophysics CONTEMPLAS donated the young
investigator award, which was presented for the first time in Bad Sassendorf:
1st place (500€): Daniel Krause, André Erlmann, Timo Hölzchen, Garvin Krug,
Melanie Mull und Martin Wünnemann (University of Paderborn) "Partial strain training
with crutches under context interference conditions " (Poster)
2nd place (350€): Daniel Leyser (Europafachhochschule Fresenius, Idstein)
"Comparison Nordic Walking and Walking: First results of a field study of the biomechanical
strain of the lower extremities " (Poster)
2nd place (350€): Harry F. Neumann (University of Leipzig) "Coordinative threshold
in sportive walking" (Poster)
CONTEMPLAS informed at their booth and with a presentation to the audience about the company,
general features of the motion analysis software and its advantages
in the use in sport sciences.
The subject "Prevention and Rehabilitation" selected by the organizers of the Klinik
Lindenplatz in Bad Sassendorf attracted great interest among the participants of
the symposium working in sport sciences and their colleagues in sports medicine.
Sharing the exhibition booth with their sales partner prophysics (ViconPEAK, AMTI),
CONTEMPLAS had the possibility to refresh business relations from earlier times
but also get into touch with new people.
