Motion analysis in HDV quality
The consumer standard for digital video (DV) has had its days and will be replaced
by the new "High Definition Video" standard (HDV)
within a couple of months.
All major consumer electronics discounter already offer a wide range of HDV cameras.
The advantage is the resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (2 mega pixel) which
is much higher then the 0.4 mega pixel of the old DV standard.
All measurements can be done with improved accuracy and presenting your video footage
on the screen will be much more attractive. In particular zooming to certain regions
within the image will extremely benefit from the enhanced resolution.
The motion analysis software TEMPLO is able to deal with these high resolution video clips.
In addition you can now synchronously record up to four HDV cameras.
