ICSS 2007
International Congress on Science and Skiing

In December 2007, the University of Salzburg organised the 4th International Congress
on Science and Skiing in St. Christoph / Arlberg (Tyrol).
The renowned scientific participants of the congress had the possibility to exchange
the latest news concerning winter sports in theory and - enjoying the marvellous
weather – in practice on the piste.

In the field of high-speed capturing, CONTEMPLAS presented an
ultra-portable system with notebook, two 200 Hz cameras and the according
akku packs offering highest mobility.
Before the congress started, members of the "Christian Doppler Laboratory" of the
University of Salzburg elaborated with the motion analysis software TEMPLO a scheme
to be used in the ski school.
