ISBS 2008
International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS)
The annual conference will be held in Seoul, Korea from July 14th to 18th 2008.
The Korean Society of Sport Biomechanics (KSSB) was organized in 1976 as an academic
organization with the interested field in sports biomechanics. The utilization of
various approaches of several fields of expertise is essential to the sports biomechanics
that it is comprised of approximately 400 members who have interests in sports science.
Seoul National University, one of best Universities not only in Korea, which hosted
table tennis in 1988 Seoul Olympic game and numerous international scientific conferences,
guaranteed to provide meeting facilities and accommodation.
Based on this background, on behalf of Korean Society of Sports Biomechanics, Seoul
National University’s, Department of Physical Education applies to host the 25th
International Symposium on Biomechanics in Sports 2008 in Seoul. The proposed conference
will be organized in a way to attract numerous scientists, researchers, educators
and coaches from all parts of the world.

As official ISBS "Silver Sponsor" (see
www.isbs.org) CONTEMPLAS support in 2008 again the work of the young scientists
in the field of biomechanics in sports. The winners of the Award are selected by
a committee of scientists and obtain a diploma and a prize money.
CONTEMPLAS, represented by Stefan Klippel and Thomas Seeholzer, are already looking
forward to a great conference in Korea.
