Contemplas setuped Lauflabor in sana Kliniken – Federal Chancellor to visit
At the end of the general rebuilding work of the Sana Clinics “Sommerfeld” the
new motion analysis laboratory of the clinic was also opened on 03.09.2010. On this occasion,
a unique set-up was installed by CONTEMPLAS with which 6 high definition cameras can be used
effectively for clinical gait analysis. In the opening festivities took also part our Federal
Chancellor Angela Merkel who expressed herself positively on the development of the clinic complex
which is 100-year-old now and took part also in a solemnisation of the motion analysis laboratory.
Employee of the Sana Clinics with long-standing experience in the area of gait analysis will
use the gait analysis laboratory, conceived by CONTEMPLAS for initial analysis of each patient
in physiotherapy. By the advancement of the laboratory, the "actual condition" of the patients can
be documented more efficiency before treatment. Therefore an ingestion in a little while, 5 minutes
per patient, on the walk track and the treadmill is possible with the help of TEMPLO.
The technical highlights of the equipment are:
- Combination lab for clinical gait analysis on the walk track and on the treadmill (in the ground sunk Woodway treadmill)
- Real time recording on the treadmill with 4 synchronous high definition cameras, as well as on the walk track with 2 high definition cameras
- Integration of a T&T Medilogic pressure measuring record for the motion analysis on the walk track
With it an optimised basis to the patient's admission and care, as well as the individual rehabilitation is created.
