CONTEMPLAS supports young investigators
CONTEMPLAS supports the societies and associations organising national and international
meetings, symposia and workshops as an exhibitor and with our advertising.
In cooperation with other companies we contribute our share to finance the event.
But furthermore, we want to directly honour the work of young scientists and that
is why we feel a special concern for the new generation of scientists,
for the young investigators.
Jul 06 : ISBS 'Hans Gros New Investigator Award' until 2008
ISBS (International Society of Biomechanics in Sports) and CONTEMPLAS extend their
cooperation, realised at the beginning of the year, until October 2008.
Being a "Silver-Sponsor" of the society, CONTEMPLAS supports especially the
annual New Investigator Award.

We are really pleased that the award was given the name of Hans Gros, founder member
and former president of the ISBS, so that beginning with the symposium of 2006 it
is called "Hans Gros New Investigator Award".
Hans Gros was president of the ISBS in 1998/99 and was honoured for his merits as
"Life Member" in 2001. He died in April 2006 at the age of 51 years.
