User meeting currex and CONTEMPLAS
For the first time a user meeting of the two companies currex and CONTEMPLAS carried
out and there were welcomed participants from Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
The focus was on the open intercommunication between the participants and the two
companies so that new ideas, wishes and suggestions could been communicated directly.
In a short theoretical part CONTEMPLAS showed tips and tricks
for the motion analysis software TEMPLO, which passed immediately to a procreative
discussion where all participants discovered for themselves, new aspects in the
application. In the subsequent part CONTEMPLAS showed in the privacy of one´s home,
the current level of the 3D posture analysis. In this connection
the whole analysis process in TEMPLO was explained and carried
out by a model. Finally, the product CONTEMPLAS FUSION was presented,
which has the practical integration of measurement systems to the goal. A short
demonstration on the 2D posture analysis showed how does patients
will be inject into the system and how they pass to the individual analysis systems.
The afternoon, designed by
the currex company (manufacturer of the analysis motionQuest), was devoted
to two issues. First Björn Gustafsson explained on the basis of relevant case studies
which aspects must conform to a professional motion analysis. Subsequent
Ingo Janz from Nike was invited as a guest speaker. Mr. Janz
presented in a very vivid manner aspects of sports shoe development at Nike.
Various shoe concepts were presented and evaluated, the paradigm of "absorb - stud
- control" has been critically examined.
The first user meeting finished with a comfortable dinner.
Due to the extremely positive response from the participants, CONTEMPLAS sees need
for action and is planning more user meetings, which will contain specific topics.
