Motion analysis module: 2D Posture analysis
The 2D posture analysis software seamlessly integrates in the motion analysis software
TEMPLO and provides an easy-to-use tool to evaluate body postures. You either capture
with two synchronous cameras of with one camera. In this case, the patient has to
be rotated 90 degrees to get a dorsal and a lateral perspective.
The 2D analysis covers three steps:

1st Analysis "before"
The analysis "before" is the first test: two high-resolution cameras capture the
posture from a lateral and from a dorsal perspective. After the manual definition
of the relevant body points, the defective positions of shoulder, pelvis and legs
etc. can be displayed graphically or in table form.

2nd Analysis "after"
The analysis "afterwards" is meant to happen after correction of the defective positions
by means of provisional aids (e.g. plastic forms of different size are put under
the heel). Now the body axes are captured again as described above.
3rd Check-up
The "check-up" procedure is the same as in step 1 and 2 and is meant to document
the therapeutic process.

Further analyses
It goes without saying, that for all analysis steps, the split-screen displays used
for gait analysis are available; using the overlay function, you can easily
compare for example the different postures with or without inlays. You have also
an extensive graphics tool box at your disposal: cross-wire, lines, angles,
distances etc.
Full screen mode and zoom functionalities are standard features.
Report
Based on the clicked body points, the software automatically calculates the correct
illustration of the posture profile (for example lordosis or kyphosis)
and documents the defective positions of the body (shoulder or pelvic obliquity
or rotation of the leg axis).

The report automatically compares the results „before” and „afterwards“ and the
„check-up“ results and calculates the corresponding values. Additionally, each analysis
can be generated, displayed and printed as a picture, showing the axes and the table
of the measured values. For individual report pages, all pictures including
all graphic elements can be displayed according to the requirements of the customer.
These pages can be added to the existing report sheets while performing the analysis
(Quick-report feature).
