Posture-Check with posture index
As a quick and easy to handle 2D posture analysis, CONTEMPLAS developed the Posture-Check.
This analysis scheme especially focuses on analysing the posture of the trunk.
The patient is observed and analysed from a lateral perspective.

In cooperation with scientific partners, a posture index has been developed in order to classify postural problems.
The final evaluation of the patient’s posture is visualised using a traffic-light system.
The scheme provides for a clear before-after-comparison of the posture.

The display of postural deficits using the traffic-light-system has been proved to
a be a highly convincing feedback for the patients.
As the Posture-Check scheme can be performed using only one camera, it offers
a maximum of mobility in posture analysis.
